After rolling start dates, school will resume as usual:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:10am - 3:40pm
- Early Release Wednesday: 9:10am - 2:10pm
Rolling start allows students to experience a day of kindergarten in a small group setting. Teachers will run through all of the daily routines from signing into the classroom, navigating the lunch line, recess, specialists, to getting home at the end of the day. We hope by providing a less overwhelming environment for your student’s first day, this will create a smooth transition and successful start to your kindergartner’s school year.
Curriculum Night
Stay tuned for information regarding Curriculum Night. This is a time where classroom teachers will share information regarding what your child will be learning this year, classroom routines, ways you can support your child at home, and address any questions you may have.

First Days of School
Arrival Location: The arrival location for ALL Kindergartners will be the undercover area of the playground. If your child is riding the bus or being dropped off in the car line, they will be directed to that area. If you are walking your child to campus, please help them get to this location. All Kindergarten students will be monitored by Frank Love staff. Students should look for their teacher/classroom sign, lining up in single file order. Classroom teachers will greet students in the designated arrival location and walk students to class.
Dismissal Location: Should you be picking up your student, please plan to meet your classroom teacher on the right side of the covered area at the end of their school day. Classroom teachers will walk students to and from their arrival and dismissal locations. We ask families to wait in the designated areas to ease congestion on our bustling sidewalks.
-
Hours and Arrival – School starts promptly at 9:10 AM, with the first bell at 9:10 AM. Due to lack of supervision, students may not arrive before 9:00 AM. Students will walk to class at 8:50 AM. Students arriving after 9:10 AM will need to check-in at the Main Office as tardy (late).
-
Dismissal - Please ensure your student knows how they will be going home the first days of school; bus, car-loop, parent walk up, etc. Please also communicate these plans to your child’s classroom teacher.
School Lunch
Your child may bring lunch from home, or buy breakfast and lunch at school. You can find more information about adding money to your child’s lunch account as well as the menu for each month on the District Website.
Create a LINQ account for your student to order lunch or breakfast at school. LINQ can help you:
- Monitor your children’s meal accounts
- Make online payments (Accepts Visa and MasterCard)
- Set up recurring payments
- Set up low account balance notifications
- Submit application for free and reduced meals
