Club Goals
- To maintain and improve existing planted spaces
- To add student centered features that encourage interaction in the gardens
- To learn the basics of gardening, plant cycles and plant structures
- To strengthen our community spirit through shared experiences
Meeting Days & Times
Information on meeting days and times to be posted in the future.
- Please know that we have a 25 student limit per day. Students will be assigned a session and a day by lottery drawing
- Students must be signed out by an adult after each session. We will meet in the courtyard at 5pm. Student walkers will not be permitted.
Student Participation
We will be welcoming students from ALL grades K-5. Please know that we have a 25 student limit.
Adult Participation
Grown-ups! Mom’s, Dad’s, Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, Community Garden Enthusiasts! Would you like to support our students and campus with the gift of time, knowledge or resources? Then please consider volunteering! If you would like to participate please fill out the Northshore School District Volunteer Forms https://www.nsd.org/get-involved/volunteer/become-a-volunteer and contact one of the host teachers to discuss volunteer opportunities.
Donations
We are always accepting gardening basics like: Shovels, rakes, gloves, soil, seeds, watering pails etc… Feel free to drop off donations in the bin at the entrance of Frank Love. If you have a larger donation or would like to support a larger project please contact a host teacher.
