As a graduate of Inglemoor High School and current Northshore parent I come to you with 20 years of experience in education. I bring with me a wide range of experiences within the educational system including leading high school and middle school music programs that had comprehensive competitive performing groups, 9 years of elementary music and intervention work with struggling mathematicians at the elementary level.
These past 5 years I have been working as an assistant principal and enjoying the work I get to do with students, families and staff every day. Over the years my core beliefs have been my what drives me to come to work every day. We are here for students...providing them with what they need to be successful each and every day. Focusing on high expectations while providing students with the skills they need to achieve anything they put their mind to by collaborating between staff, students and families to help provide equitable and effective learning environments both academically and socially for students to thrive.
One a personal note, my husband and I have three amazing boys, who amaze me each and every day with their kindness, creativity and who also keep me on my toes when I am not at school. Each of my boys show me their individuality, their strengths and their struggles. It is such a joy to be part of this critical time in their lives where they are learning and growing every day, just like it is such a joy to be part of all your child's school experiences. We also have two fun and energetic German Shepards that can't wait each day to welcome us home.
I am very passionate about my work with children and staff, and I am lucky to be joining the Frank Love team and community. I look forward to meeting all of you as we start this new school year.
In partnership,
Patty Allen
