What a great school year. It's truly an honor to serve a community that cares so deeply about their children and fully supports the success of the school and it’s students. The staff and I can’t thank you enough for the partnership.
A few highlights from this year.
We welcomed 250 kindergartners into the Frank Love family.
We continued our work to support The Cheetah Way: This year, the students earned over 10,000 Cheetah Spots for showing The Cheetah Way by being Responsible, Respectful and Safe!
Our PTA sponsored and ran fun all school events: Walk-A-Thon, Talent Show, Festival of Cultures, Bingo Night, Art Walk to name a few.
Families showed support for their students by attending curriculum night, open house, music concerts, volunteering for field trips and in the classroom.
Teachers inspired and motivated 650+ students to do their very best work each day! Thank you for your continued support and for cheering your child(ren) on.
At the end of each school year, we have to say goodbye to staff as is the ebb and flow of a school house. This year, we wish Terry Etchey, our great school secretary, and Julie Cooper, one of our great 2nd grade teachers, the very best as they retire with many years of service to NSD behind them and years of new adventures in front of them. We wish them well and give our love and support to them. We also say goodbye to Katie Tiffany, one of our 4th grade teachers, who will be moving back to her home state of Michigan. We loved having her on staff, if only for one year. Undoubtably there will more staffing changes over the summer. We will keep you posted.
Thank you for your continued support and for cheering your child on. We hope to see you at the various activities as we finish out the school year!
Wishing you a fun and joyful summer!

We have begun the exciting job of starting our planning for the 2019-2020 school year here at Frank Love. Our kindergarten students and their families make up an important part of our school community. Spread the word to your friends and neighbors to not delay and to register any incoming kindergarteners now.
We hope our incoming kindergarten families consider attending one of our upcoming school tours and our Getting School Ready event. These are important opportunities to connect with your new school community and learn about how your child can get the most out of their kindergarten experience. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is a super fun way to celebrate a years worth of hard work, spend time together as the Frank Love community and enjoy an afternoon of fun with friends, family and teachers! To make this event truly spectacular, we need your help! If you are able to volunteer, please sign up for one of the many stations, or to be on the setup/clean up crew. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050E49A9A62FA0F94-field
Staff members will be out and about to help at stations and to supervise/support kids as they enjoy all the fabulous stations. This is a great way for kids, families, and teachers to get to know each other outside of the classroom walls.
We recommend sending your kids to school in their play clothes, and that if you volunteer you also come dressed to play! There are many activities out in the field, water activities and games to get messy at, so be prepared :-)
***Many parents ask if this is an event they can bring younger siblings, in short, no. Having younger siblings adds to an already very crowded event and they can easily get overwhelmed by all the activity. Also, supplies, treats and prizes were ordered to accommodate students and younger siblings may feel left out. It is best to find child care for younger siblings.***
~Make sure you have a valid volunteer application / background check on file in the office.~
