Note from the Principals

Dear Frank Love Families,

The countdown to the last day of this incredible school year has begun. It’s just sinking in that we have 10 more school days and then our students mark the end to another year in their elementary school years. We want to especially celebrate our 5th grade students who are transitioning to middle school. It has been an honor for me and the staff to see them through their years at Frank Love. This particular group of students have such kind hearts and a passion for making a difference in the world. They use their voice and advocate for what they believe in. It was fun to be able to highlight a few of the 5th grade projects at our assembly on Wednesday and we’ll do more of that at our end of the school year assembly June 16th at 9:15.

In this newsletter, there will be information about our materials drop off planned for Wednesday, June 16th from 12:00-2:00. We hope that many of you will have an opportunity to join us to drop off school items and be able to say our goodbyes for the summer.

Have a great weekend,
Katy French, Principal
Denise Waters, Assistant Principal

Health Room News

I can’t believe it is June already! Wow! We are making plans to close out the school year. This includes seeing that any medication your child has in the Health Room will get home in a safe manner. Please make arrangements to pick up the medication at school. If the only medication your child has is an inhaler you can give written permission to have them take their inhaler home. All other medications need to be picked up by a parent/guardian on or before Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 4pm. We cannot keep any medications over the summer.  Epinephrine, diastat/valium and glucagon have to stay in the health room until your child’s last day at the school building, June 15th for Hybrid A  or June 18th for Hybrid B.  Any medication not picked up by Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 4pm will be disposed.

I will be available near the front lobby doors during the Frank Love Reverse Parade on June 16th from 12-2pm. I am also available during school hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Please call if you have any questions or if you want to make a specific appointment time for medication pick up.
